Sync and Devices

Equalize was designed to work well on both mobile and desktop. Logging new transactions while you are on the street, at work, or anywhere else is important if you want to keep control of your budget. At the same time, you may prefer using Equalize on desktop for a broader view of your budget. In that case, just open app.equalize.finance on your computer.

Privacy First

Your data is stored locally on your device. That means that even without internet access, you can still add a transaction on your phone. When appropriate, Equalize will sync your data to the cloud. Traffic and synchronization between devices use industry-standard encryption.

Restore and Conflicts

If there is a divergence between the Cloud and the Local Device (for example, after staying offline), the last modified transaction wins based on timestamp when you edit the same transaction on both mobile and desktop. If you add a transaction on mobile and edit a different transaction on desktop, Equalize keeps both changes, adding the missing transaction to the device that did not have it.
